To give you an idea, there are only 8 or 9 pieces that go above a count of six! Actually, the most frequently occurring piece in this set is the 2X2 red brick that forms the four pillars at the bottom of the set.įour figs in a $50 set is a pretty good deal, but they're not too special. Another note is that this is the most random selection of pieces in any set I have ever seen! If you are looking for any certain type or category of piece, do not buy this set. There is also a red rubber hose separate. The 4 marked bags, each of which has a smaller bag inside. Most of them look quite good when applied, a rare case. Is this an accidentally inserted preliminary image? I have no idea if this has shown up before, because this is the first Space Police set I have bought above $10. what is that? It looks like a city mechanic with a glow-in-the-dark Snake helmet. I noticed something strange on the back of the first instruction book.
I was surprised to see that the back of the box did not show all of the functions, like the safe with gold. Squidman and the Skull Twin appear to be captured, and the police officer doesn't seem to notice Snake slipping away. The box, depicting the hideout on an asteroid. Since my first review, uh, didn't go so well, I have double checked everything this time. I had to do this with an old camera since my normal one broke a few days ago, so the pictures will not be of the best quality. But, since this is such a controversial set, I think that buyers leaning either way need all the details they can get. I decided it was worth reviewing and as I was posting this, I found it had already been reviewed. But then this caught my eye, as I thought it wasn't coming out for a little while more. However, the Space Police is expecting them and springs their trap. Later, in the short It's A Trap., Squidman goes to Chaddy's Intergalactic Junkyard with Snake, Slizer, and one of the Skull Twins to steal a "scrapped" Space Police vehicle. An out-of-control Space Police cruiser flew by and knocked off Squidman's capes, leaving Squidman confused. Squidman made a brief cameo in the short The Chase, where he was hanging his capes on a clothesline. Later, when the officer is interrogating Snake, Squidman breaks into the police station to rescue Snake. In the first short, Interrogation, Squidman is seen spraying the words "P-Squiddy Rules!" on a wall before a Space Police officer comes, and he runs away. Squidman also appears in several of the Space Police stop-motion shorts. However, the Space Police discovered his workshop and came to stop him. This time, he was running a workshop where he upgraded vehicles for the rest of the Space Biker Gang.
Squidman made another appearance in set #5980. In Lego set #5969, Squidman had stolen a gold bar and was being chased by a Space Police officer riding a futuristic hover-cycle.
